National & international options¶
The knowledgebase lists verified programs by capability tier, with geography as a secondary attribute only. This page summarizes the tiers; full verified entries, last-verified dates, and why-relevant citations are in the directories.
Capability tiers (summary)¶
- Tier 1 — Published adult clubfoot / complex-deformity authorities. Established specialists whose adult post-clubfoot or complex-reconstruction work is documented in the peer-reviewed literature. Some are publication authorities rather than routine clinical intake.
- Tier 2 — US complex-deformity & adult residual-clubfoot specialists. Fellowship-trained orthopaedic foot & ankle surgeons at high-volume US programs with documented complex reconstruction / revision work.
- Tier 3 — US multi-specialty centers (capability examples). Institutions that assemble ortho + vascular + wound + plastics for limb salvage.
International¶
Notable international programs include centers in the United Kingdom, Switzerland (e.g., Balgrist University Hospital, Zurich), Germany (Berlin complex foot & ankle, Charité lineage), and Canada — each carrying a verified relevance tag.
